Collins Kipchirchir

My name is Kipchirchir Collins pursuing Electrical Technology Grade II at Eastlands College. I am 20 years of age and I come from Kericho County. I am the 1st born in a family of 5.I did my KCSE in the year 2017 at Kipchimchim Boys High School.Before joining Eastlands College I used to work as a hotel waiter and later worked as a manual worker at a small company where we were loading scrap metals at the abandoned factories. I heard about KCB foundation scholarship at Eastlands College. I came, did the interview and was shortlisted. I studied Grade III and I got an on job training at Paytech Africa as a technical assistant. I did my exams and continued with my work. Currently I am working 4 days in a week at Paytech and studying the others at the College. I am able to pay part of my school fees and my up keep with the money I get thanks to the trainers and skills acquired at the College. Eastlands College is indeed the place to be.
