Eastlands College of Technology had its orientation for the September intake on Friday 29th September 2017 at the entrance hall of the workshop building. The students had already been given a tour of the College and were seated by 9.00am. Presentations were made by various heads of departments, managers and schools touching on various aspects of students’ life in the College: academic, technical, spirituality formation, finance, security, sports, mentorship and how to carry themselves in the industry. The audience was once again reminded they need to treat each other with uttermost respect.
This particular intake was unique in that for the first time, ECT will be having diploma intakes of Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Moreover international students from Tanzania, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo and Somalia graced the occasion.
The event took about one and half hours.
Intake for January 2018 is open; interested candidates are urged to apply while there is still slots.
