The College received more than three hundred applications from applicants in an attempt to get a place ECT in the May 2018 intake. After preliminary examination and the accompanying procedures, only 149 students succeeded to secure the coveted slots in the College. They were enrolled in different courses namely: Electrical Technology, Mechanical Maintenance Technology, Diploma in Information, Communication and Technology and Automotive Engineering. After a tour of the faculties they assembled in the Colleges common room for a briefing by various College authorities.

The term runs from May to August 2018. They will then be dispersed to various industries for On Job Training (OJT). The College wishes the new students happy and laborious stay in the College as they work for their future.
