ICT Trainer and Systems administrator.

Position: ICT Trainer and Systems administrator.

Key Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities will entail: –

  • Manage our IT infrastructure, including server, networks, and Learning software.
  • Maintain the security of our IT systems.
  • Provide IT support to staff and students.
  • Deliver training in a range of ICT courses, including programming, coding and networking.
  • Preparing teaching/learning materials and schemes of work;
  • Setting and marking examination/assignment;
  • Carrying out research work under the guidance and supervision of a senior trainer; and
  • Supervising trainees’ projects and practical work.

Qualifications

  • A degree in ICT or a related subject.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure management.
  • Experience in Python, PHP, and the CodeIgniter framework, with a strong background in coding and programming.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Pedagogy skills will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
