General Motors East Africa in ECT

On Wednesday 3rd November 2016 a group of employees from General motors East Africa came to Eastlands College of Technology. Led by their CEO, Rita Kavashe they were received by the College’s senior administrative team which was composed of Mr. Austine Omeno the Principal, Mr. Emmanuel Oduor, Finance Administrative Director  Mr. Jeremiah Siang’ani the Registrar,  Mr. Andrew Olea, Project Manager and Mr. Emmanuel Choge Assistant Project Manager.

The purpose of a visit is to look for a possible partnership in providing Dual Training System to Eastlands College of Technology Automotive Engineering students who might be deployed in General Motors East Africa for practical.

The College enhances students’ skills through Dual Training which is a two way method of learning. Each module is covered in classroom lectures and thereafter to the relevant industry
