A first year student at Eastlands College of Technology, William Kuria Mungai, emerged the best student in Mathematics countrywide in his course, in the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board (KASNEB) exams which were done in 2016.

William, who is pursuing Diploma in Information and Communication Technology (ECT) at ECT, was awarded the trophy in a ceremony held at Hilton Hotel by Mr. Ndonye, a member of KASNEB Board.
Jubilant William thanked God for the prize. He was also grateful to the entire college fraternity especially for the support he got from his teachers as well as the students.It is amazing how a newcomer, Eastlands College of Technology, managed to produce the best student beating other colleges in DICT.
